Let the Activity Begin …

Eating Less while not mindlessly eating has been going well; but, at some point a RAMmer needs to add some activity to their plan for a lot of reasons … it’s time to begin. But, what to do?

One of the keys for me in selecting the right first activity is this: choose one that doesn’t position me for too much pain or injury … I would suggest that to anyone.

For me, I have to think about my weight and what activity won’t set me up for too much pain or injury … I’ve decide to do … WALKING.

Okay okay, I know it doesn’t sound like much; but, I’ve done some research (i.e., VeryWell Fit) and there are a couple of things that I need to keep in the Walking Plan and they include:

  • 1st week total 150 minutes and then add 5 minutes each week for the month.
  • Walk briskly for anywhere between 30 to 90 minutes on any given day.
  • Don’t go more than 1 day off.

VeryWell Fit states, “You get the added benefit of burning fat when you walk at a brisk pace for longer than 30 minutes.” It’s the fat I need to burn off … let the walking begin! What are you setting out to do?
